“Well, that was a very interesting conversation with my son tonight! He needed to come up with some ideas for science experiments. All of a sudden, he said he wanted to make a “sweet gun”! I was like, eh?!

Then he explained more about how sweets turn into clouds, smells, sour reactions, and so on. Suddenly I remembered what it was all about — it was from the Cheltenham Science Festival. Thankfully, Laura and Holly were interpreting that day, and I felt so involved with my son. We had so many great conversations.

Now he has finally decided what to do! He chose to make a balloon-powered car. It really shows how much he learned and how strong that connection was between us.
